What makes it different

You are not a diagnosis detached from your life.

Social work counselling starts with context. Anxiety, grief, trauma, burnout or relationship strain do not occur in a vacuum. Family roles, financial pressure, health, work, culture, discrimination, disability and access to services can all shape what you carry.

Meg brings more than two decades of clinical social work experience to each session. The work can include reflection and emotional processing, but it can also be practical: preparing for a difficult conversation, understanding a system, finding language for what is happening or identifying a manageable next step.

This may suit you if

You need support that can hold complexity.

You are carrying several things at once

Mental health, family, caring responsibilities, work and health may be tangled together. You do not need to reduce your life to one neat issue.

You want practical and emotional support

Insight matters, but so do decisions, boundaries, services and the real-world problems waiting after the session ends.

Previous therapy felt too narrow

You may have felt managed as a symptom or expected to explain your context repeatedly before useful work could begin.

You prefer flexible telehealth

Choose phone, secure video or chat from a private place anywhere in Australia. Video is not compulsory.

How sessions work

Professional support without unnecessary barriers.

Choose an appointment

View current availability and book online. You do not need a GP referral.

Meet in the format that works

Sessions are 60 minutes by phone, secure video or chat. Choose the option that feels most accessible.

Work with what is actually happening

Some sessions are reflective, some practical, and some include body-aware ways of settling the nervous system. The work follows your needs and pace.

Areas commonly brought to counselling

There is room for the complicated version.

  • Burnout, overwhelm and carrying responsibility for everyone else
  • Trauma, complex mental health and nervous-system distress
  • Grief, loss, major change and identity transitions
  • Neurodivergence, masking and late identification
  • Relationships, boundaries and family dynamics
  • Navigating services, health systems or workplace pressures
