Begin with one clear choice.

Start with a pay-as-you-go counselling appointment, professional supervision, or ask about the financial-hardship rate. You do not need to choose an ongoing arrangement before you know the work feels right.

Before you book

Choose a time, enter your details, retrieve the six-digit phone or email verification code, and complete the required intake form. Have your residential address and a safe emergency contact ready. Individual counselling requires a $37 deposit (20% of $185); couples counselling requires $40 (20% of $200). These deposits are part of the session fee. Continue through Halaxy and check for your booking confirmation.

Do I need a referral?

You can book a private counselling appointment directly without a GP referral.

Can I claim Medicare?

Meg is an Accredited Social Worker, not an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker. MEB Counselling appointments do not currently attract Medicare rebates.

If you are comparing services, read social worker, psychologist or counsellor in Australia for questions about qualifications, rebates and fit.

Can I claim private health insurance?

Reimbursement depends on your fund, policy and provider eligibility. Before booking, ask your insurer whether it covers counselling with Meg Bonetti as an Accredited Social Worker. Do not assume that a rebate applies.

What is the cancellation policy?

Please give at least 24 hours’ notice before your appointment if you need to cancel. There is no cancellation fee when you give at least 24 hours’ notice. If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, you are liable for the full session fee. To cancel, text 0485 018 313 or email meg@mebpractice.com.au.

Can I have a written session?

Written counselling is a scheduled 60-minute session with Meg. It is an alternative to speaking by phone or video, rather than an ongoing messaging service. Confirm your preferred format when booking.

What should I check before confirming?

Review the appointment type, fee, format and local appointment time in Halaxy. If you need to clarify cancellation terms, payment arrangements or what happens if the connection fails, ask Meg before booking.

Does supervision meet my professional requirements?

Professional supervision is $200 for a 60-minute session. Check any employer, professional-body or accreditation requirements before booking so the arrangement fits your needs.
